What government support does 1001 Paws provide?
We help public bodies move from isolated interventions to a clear management framework. Work can include policy review, standard operating procedures, programme governance, humane contractor specifications, stakeholder engagement, public-facing guidance, training and measurable reporting.
How does the approach align with the UAE policy environment?
Programme design considers Federal Law No. 16 of 2007 on animal welfare, as amended by Federal Law No. 18 of 2016; published municipal stray-animal control requirements; the return-based approach described in the UAE National Invasive Species Strategy; and established TNVMR practice.
Policy requirements can change and vary by emirate and site. This page is general programme information, not legal advice. Current requirements should be confirmed with the relevant authority before implementation.
